It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Gordon Carmichael, who left us all far too soon at the age of fifteen on September 19, 2024. Gordon is a vibrant, kind, and compassionate young man whose bright light touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Born on Oct 1, 2008, Gordon is deeply cherished by two loving families: (Mother) Heather Santos, Alex Santos; (Father) Chad Carmichael, Dori Sessoms. Each family nurtured and guided Gordon with Endless Love, creating a strong and infinite support system throughout his life. The unique bond he shared with each parent is a testament to the love and unity that surrounded Gordon from birth.
Gordon had a passion for being active in any activity he pursued whether it be wrestling, football, lifting weights, baseball, basketball, and soccer. He loved hanging with his bros, eating at subway, and playing games on his phone. He also deeply loved his pups: Glory, Gracie and Coco. He loved his family and friends and he knew they loved him just as much.
Gordon is preceded in death by his Papa, Willie Dyer. He is survived and cherished by his brother, Ross Leloup; grandparents, Joy and Brett Roberts, James and Andrea Johnson, Bill and Jeannie Carmichael; aunts and uncles, Jamie Anchors, Billy and Robyn Dyer, Jaqueline Johnson, Sharon Neal, Alisa and Kevin Beck. He is also deeply loved by many cousins as well as close friends that are family!
We could fill volumes with stories about how amazing Gordon is, how profoundly he is loved, and the impact he made on so many people’s lives! He will forever remain in our hearts.
