SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Godfrey Milton Zentmayer, 67, of Savannah, Georgia, devoted husband and father, died Friday afternoon, December 2, 2011, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Godfrey Carl Zentmayer and the late Margaret Yard Zentmayer. Mr. Zentmayer served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force. He graduated with a B.S. in Business and Finance from Rider College in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Mr. Zentmayer was the President of Academy Lighting and Zephyr Molding. He was a member of the New England MGT Register and was an avid golfer and loved to fish.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Donna Lynn Zentmayer, of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, Brian Zentmayer, of Savannah, Georgia, Andrew Zentmayer and his wife, Christy, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and one grandson, Zackary Zentmayer.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Monday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
