Gloria Ann 'Nanny' Bryan Williams, 80, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday afternoon, April 11, 2015, at Hospice Savannah after an extended illness.
Born in Savannah, she was the daughter of the late Charles Hilton Bryan and the late Sallie James Bryan. She was a former member of Pinehurst Christian Church and attended the Alapaha United Methodist Church for the past four years. Mrs. Williams retired from Gulfstream Aerospace in 2007 after having worked there for over eighteen years.
Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Buttimer and her husband, Dairel Dubose, of Alapaha, Georgia, Lawanda Coleman of Savannah, and Donna Hughes of Rincon; her son, Cleveland Williams, Jr. of Guyton; six grandchildren, Gary McKenzie, Jr., Dustin McKenzie, Allison Williams, Nicholas Cribbs, Ryan Hughes and Anna Hughes; three great-grandchildren, Gage McKenzie, Rylan McKenzie and Colten McKenzie; three cousins, Jackie Myrick, Cynthia Geiger and Shirley Formby, and her best friend Betty Chapman.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Moses Toole. Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
