Glenda Lucille Wright Lukas, 80, of Savannah, Georgia and formerly of Ocala, Florida, widow of SFC Joseph Daniel Lukas, United States Army (Ret.), died Tuesday afternoon, October 9, 2018, at her home.
Born in Flint, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late James Earl Wright and the late Lucille Mildred Malzahn Wright.
Survivors include one daughter, Candise M. Tetterton of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, Joseph D. Lukas, Jr. and his wife, Enilsa, of Savannah, Georgia, and Steven V. Lukas and his wife, Michelle, of Wesley Chapel, Florida; twelve grandchildren, Sherrie Ann Shields, Suzanne Marie Jones and her husband, Brian, Sarah Elizabeth Scott and her husband, Anton, Joseph D. Lukas III, Maria Danielle Lukas and her husband, Linden Naten, Glenda Matus and her husband, Marco, Samuel Tetterton and his wife, Julie, Christina Marie Tetterton, Dawn Marie Washington and her husband, Ross, Daniel Joseph Lukas and his wife, Autumn, Stephanie Anne Lukas, and Steven V. Lukas, Jr. and his wife, Katie; two step-grandsons, Jose Rodriguez and SGT Stephan Nicholas Beacham, United States Army; twenty great-grandchildren with another great-grandchild due in December, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, October 16, 2018, at the graveside, Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
