Glenda Delores 'Dee' Rogers Kleiner, 83, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Martin 'Marty' Francis Kleiner, died Tuesday morning, May 12, 2015, at Buckingham South.
Born in Hagan, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Lee Roy Rogers and the late Cara Threatt Rogers Strickland. At an early age Mrs. Kleiner moved from Claxton to Savannah where she earned her real estate license and later her floral designer certification. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. Mrs. Kleiner enjoyed floral arranging, doing for others, and most importantly taking care of her family. She was a kind and generous person who loved equally all of her family.
Surviving are four daughters, Myron K. Wilson (Jerry), Karla K. Mobley, and Simone K. Wiggins (William), all of Savannah, Georgia, and Cydney K. Pass (Chris), of Maryville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Elise Bowen (Brian), Lee Palefsky (Liza), Seth Adler, Jami Ganem (Michael), Emily Blackstock (Luke), Sarah Mobley, George Wiggins and Christopher Pass (Amy); four great-grandchildren, Stella and Sasha Bowen, Emma Palefsky and Jack Ganem; five step-grandchildren, John Wilson, Lainie Harris, Andrea Wilson, Jo Rackliff and Vickie Leonard; four step-great-grandchildren, Valerie Morris, Ella and Russell Harris and Taylor Leonard, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Robert W. Haas.
