Gladys Elizabeth 'Libby' Mock Carter, 85, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Franklin 'Frank' Delano Carter, entered her Heavenly home on Wednesday morning, November 20, 2019, at Hospice Savannah.



Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Edward Mock and the late Gladys Irene Saturday Mock. Mrs. Carter was a member of Burkhalter Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with family, especially her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Carter enjoyed gardening and cooking.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Linda Faye Carter.



Survivors include her husband of almost 66 years, Franklin 'Frank' Delano Carter; four daughters, Brenda Miller and her husband, Patrick, Vicky Dubberly and her husband, Mike, Sandra White and her husband, Robert, and Tammy Cutlip; seven grandchildren, Kristie Sanders and her husband, Steven, Nicole Dubberly, Michael Dubberly, Trevor White and his wife, Raechel, Sophia White, Berkley Cutlip and Zachary Cutlip, and one great-grandson, Dalton Sanders.



The family will receive friends from 11 until 12 Monday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Monday in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Dr. Charles G. Cooper. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
