SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Gladys Elizabeth Brown Way, 86, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of John Atwell Way, Jr., died Friday morning, January 29, 2010, at Azalealand Nursing Home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Emanuel County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Dailey Brown and the late Vinnie Godbee Brown. Mrs. Way was a retired bookkeeper.
Surviving are one daughter, Tammie Elizabeth Walz and her husband, John, of Savannah, Georgia; four sisters; one brother and three grandchildren, John, James and Jennifer Walz.
The visitation will be from 5 until 7 o'clock Saturday at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at the graveside, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, conducted by The Reverend Larry J. Stell.
