During her high school years, Gina worked as a tour guide for the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace.  To fulfill her "passion for fashion," during her years in Savannah, Gina worked as a cosmetics rep for Belk Department Store, and as a model for Lady Jane and Town and Country stores.  After graduating from Johnson High School, Gina attended the University of Georgia where she majored in Speech Communications with a minor in English and graduated in 1984.  While attending UGA, Gina was affiliated with various activities, served as a Georgia Girl, and won the Miss Alpha Phi Alpha crown in her senior year.
Upon Gina's graduation from UGA, she lived in Atlanta, Georgia where she attended Hillside Presbyterian Church.  Her career path led her to work in corporate America which included Time Magazine.  After experiencing the corporate world, Gina decided to focus on her passion.  Gina's passion was makeup artistry.  She worked with cosmetics companies such as Estee Lauder, Fashion Fair, Flori Roberts, and Iman.
While working with Flori Roberts, Gina rose in the ranks of the cosmetics world as a regional director of the company, serving the areas of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, bringing such stars as Patti LaBelle to regional malls to promote Flori Roberts' cosmetics.  In her spare time, Gina also worked as a makeup artist for CNN.
After accomplishing her goals with Flori Roberts, Gina decided to venture out on her own by creating, directing, and producing her own how to apply makeup video, entitled, "Let's Face It Again."  Additionally, she worked as an account representative for United Parcel Service.
Gina enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, Cisco, her "canine nephew," who passed a year ago.  "Miss Gina," as she was to be referred to by her close and dear friends, loved to travel, especially to the snow covered mountains of Whistler, British Columbia, Vail, Colorado, and Utah.
