Born in Manhattan, New York, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Honigsfeld and the late Anna Horowitz Honigsfeld. Mrs. Ackerman was of the Jewish faith and was a retired dress shop floor manager in New York.
She lived a lifetime of enjoyment.  Her passion and love were spent on her family and friends. Grand Bubbie, Bubbie and Mom, she has inspired us all to live life the right way. While we are grieved to lose her time with us, our memories and lessons learned will not be. Each of us will take a special part of her with us and her love will be in us forever.
