Geoffrey Eric Anthony Harrison was born in London, England on May 24th, 1953 to Gwendoline Marie Gibbs Harrison and Leo Peter Harrison. He spent his childhood in England with his younger sister Louise, where Geoff developed a love of soccer and achieved mild local fame after winning a Butlin's Holiday Camp beauty pageant at age 5.
Geoff and Louise joined their mother in Maryland in 1966, where Geoff joined the Drama Club and studied foreign languages such as French, German, and American-accented English at Oxon Hill High School. After graduating in 1971, Geoff was a Navy SeaBee for three years, serving in Little Creek, Virginia, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean.
