Gary E. Bazemore

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Gary E. Bazemore, 65, of Savannah and husband of thirty years to Trudy Ramsey-Bazemore, died Saturday morning, August 25, 2012, at Candler Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Walton L. Bazemore and Claire Sack Bazemore. Mr. Bazemore worked as a plumber with Bazemore Plumbing and several other plumbing companies for many years.  In recent years he was employed by Holton Plumbing Company.
Surviving are his wife, Trudy Ramsey-Bazemore of Savannah; two daughters, Janet Collins and her husband, Chris, and Theresa Bazemore, all of Savannah; a step-daughter, Melissa Genitempo and her husband, Steven, of Rincon, Georgia; a step-son, Kenneth "Shane" Ramsey of Ellabell, Georgia; three brothers, Walton Bazemore and his wife, Peggy, of Savannah, Leo Bazemore of Pembroke, Georgia, and Larry Bazemore, and his wife, Gladys Joy, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
A private service will take place at a later date.
