Gail Rosalene Traxtle, 52, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday afternoon, February 13, 2015, at her home.
Born in Whitefish, Montana, she was a daughter of the late Robert Kenneth Hume and the late Gladys Rosaline Hammons Hume. Gail was the head fudge maker at River Street Sweets.
Surviving are two daughters, Brianne Gurganus and her husband, Christopher, of Hilton Head Island, and Megan Johnikin and her husband, David, of Savannah; one sister, Deb Dirkes and her husband, Mike Horton, of Charleston; one brother, Thomas Hume of Washington; two grandchildren, Abbey Gurganus and David Johnikin, and one niece, Brandi Dirkes.
The memorial service will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service.
