Gabriel Phillip Magulias, 20, of Savannah, Georgia, died Wednesday morning, July 5, 2017, in Savannah, Georgia.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Stephen Phillip Magulias and Nancy Leas Magulias. Gabriel was a member of Kirk o' the Isles Presbyterian Church. He graduated from Jenkins High School in 2016. Gabriel was an avid athlete and excelled in football and track. He loved going to UGA games with his dad, traveling with his family, and fishing.
Those who knew Gabriel knew him as a kind and caring soul who, for many years, sought treatment for and battled mental illness.
Survivors include his parents, Stephen Phillip Magulias and Nancy Leas Magulias; one sister, Molly Lynn Magulias; his biological mother, Jacqueline Holmes; his biological father, Maurice Luke and his wife, Holly; his biological grandmother, Margie Holmes; his biological sisters and brothers, Brandon, Diane, Jumante and Raina, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at Kirk o' the Isles Presbyterian Church conducted by The Reverend Peter J. Whitney. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
