SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Freddie Williams Bass, 73, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of MSgt. Charles Burton Bass, Jr., USAF (Ret.), died Wednesday morning, October 14, 2009, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Millen, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Lacy M. Williams and the late Claudine Pierce Williams. Mrs. Bass was a homemaker.
Surviving are one daughter; Terri Ray of Savannah, Georgia; one son, Steve Bass of Jackson, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Korri Ray, Candace Reyes and her husband, Lance, Travis Ray, Stephanie Billings and her husband, Douglas, and Timothy Bass, and one great-granddaughter, Kamden Ray.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the graveside, Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East, conducted by The Reverend Dr. Samuel W. Watkins.
