SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Frank Allen Pfirman, Sr., 75, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday evening, January 25, 2011, on Tybee Island at the home of his daughter and son-in-law and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice.
Born in Bellevue, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Elsie Copher. Frank retired as a sales associate from Kohler Corporation after 25 years of service. He was a sales associate for Mopper-Stapen Realtors. Frank was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golf, deer hunting and trout fishing.
Surviving are two daughters, Marie Pilkington and her husband, Dale, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, and Tania Mopper and her husband, Dicky, of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, Frank A. Pfirman, Jr. of Monticello, Georgia, and Vince Pfirman of Monroe, Georgia, and five grandchildren, Craig Pilkington, Dawn Pilkington, Jessica Tehan and her husband, Matthew, Taylor Doubleday and Blake Doubleday.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends after the service until 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
