SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Frank Gilbert, 88, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday morning, July 7, 2012, at Hospice Savannah.
He was a United States Army Air Force veteran having served in World War II. Mr. Gilbert was a graduate of Cornell University and earned his Master of Literature degree from Columbia University. He was a gifted photographer who developed his own work.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
