Frank Solomon Creel, 65, of Ellabell, Georgia and husband of Callie Bolen Creel, died Sunday afternoon, December 2, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family and under the care of Arcadia Hospice.
Born in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Chief Commander Creel and the late Amy Cribb Creel. Frank was of the Methodist faith. He formerly owned and operated Chatham Collision Center in Savannah.
In addition to his first wife of 42 years, Joyce Olsson Creel, and his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Frank Allan Creel.
Survivors include his wife, Callie Bolen Creel; one daughter, Tammy Sue Carter of Brooklet, Georgia; two step-daughters, Brandi Jones and Amanda Lynn both of Ellabell, Georgia; three grandchildren, Heather Carter, Franklin Carter and Michael Carter; three great-grandchildren, Laine Kate Marrero, Sawyer Marrero and Logan Lynn; four sisters, Virginia Rogers and her husband, Clifton, Patsy Weatherford, Sarah Wilds and her husband, Tony, and Rosanne Armstrong, all of Georgetown, South Carolina, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o\'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Jay Williams. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - West.
