Frances Loretta Taylor Thomson, 73, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Ian Alexander Thomson, died Saturday morning, September 29, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Ed Taylor and the late Catherine Sowell Taylor. Mrs. Thomson was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker who loved her family and gardening.
In addition to her husband of more than 39 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Taylor and Tommy Taylor.
Surviving are two sons, Michael D. Thomson and Steven E. Thomson and his wife, Delane, all of Savannah; two grandsons, Nicolas Thomson and Christian Thomson; three sisters, Pat Hearn and her husband, James, Elaine Chapman and June Stamey, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Tuesday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey ' West.
