Former State Representative Anne O'Quin Mueller, 91, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Hans Kurt 'Whitey' Mueller, died Wednesday morning, September 15, 2021, in Springfield at the home of her daughter and son-in-law with her family by her side.



Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Howard Raymond O'Quin and the late Bessie Kate Bell O'Quin. Anne was a longtime member of Windsor Forest Baptist Church. She graduated from the University of Georgia, Class of 1951, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Anne served in the Georgia State House of Representatives District 126 from 1982 until 2002. She devoted her life to her community and the state of Georgia. Anne, who was known by her family as 'Oma', will be remembered for spending time with her family, and for being a friend to all.



In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Jennings O\'Quin.



Survivors include her daughter, Heidi M. Carter and her husband, Leonard; her son, Mark Mueller and his wife, Alice; her step-daughter, Yvonne Key and her husband, Corky; nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.



The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11 o'clock Saturday morning, September 18, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 11:30 Saturday morning, September 18, 2021, at the graveside, Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Rick West.
