Florine Wall Baker, 85, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Jarvis Alton Baker, died Friday afternoon, June 1, 2018, at her home.
Born in New York, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul Wall and the late Mary Schlussel Wall. She retired from AT&T after 40 years as a long distance operator. Mrs. Baker moved to Savannah in 2010 to live with her daughter, Sheila. Florine was a wonderful and devoted mother who was always very positive and happy. Florine was a kind, generous, loving and sincere lady with a great sense of humor. She loved bowling, dancing, singing, and the New York Mets.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Seidman; a sister, Helen Isaacs, and a brother, George J. Wall.
Surviving are a son, Michael Baker and his wife, Margie; Sheila B. Ashway and her husband, Michael; a son, Barron S. Wall and his fianc??e, Debbi. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the graveside service, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Robert W. Haas.
