Faye McCumber Wilson, 93, of Savannah, Georgia, died Wednesday afternoon, June 9, 2021, at her home.
Born in Reidsville, Georgia she was a daughter of the late Lewis Reynolds McCumber and the late Annie Pearl Parker McCumber. Faye owned her own hairstyling business. She loved cooking, especially her peach cobbler and hamburger casserole, and used these skills to make the meals for the children at Southern Montessori Academy. Faye enjoyed gardening, with roses being her favorite. But mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Virginia 'Jenny' Lee Harvey; son, Terry Gene Anderson; grandchildren, Ginger, Wendell, Amber, and Austin and great-grandchildren, Emily, August, Greyson, Jeanette, Hunter, Vivian, and Raelynn.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock, Tuesday morning, June 15, 2021, at the graveside, Hillcrest Abbey ' East, conducted by the Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett.
