Farrell 'Campbell' Harrelson, 78, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2021.
Campbell was born in Savannah, Georgia on September 12, 1942 to the late George W. Harrelson Sr. and Mary C. Benson Harrelson. He lived a dutiful life serving in the Army and in his everyday life as a longtime friend of Bill. He had a generous heart and cared deeply for others. He always addressed people by saying 'What can I do for you?' and always bid farewell with 'So long.' Campbell touched the lives of countless people. He believed that everyone deserved love, kindness, and respect which was reflected in the way he treated others. Campbell's smile and laughter will be missed by all the lives he has touched.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and brothers, Jerry and Allen Harrelson.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine Harrelson Dunn; son-in-law, Geoff Dunn; grandsons, Brandon and Devin Starbuck; granddaughter, Destinee Matano; three great-grandsons; brother, George Harrelson; sisters, Jean Shafenberg, Shirley Claxton, and Cindy Hadden, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Riverview Health & Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care given to Mr. Harrelson.
The family will receive friends from 9 until 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, June 8, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, June 8, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. The family strongly encourages mask use and social distancing.
