SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Eunice Lee Cannon, 91, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 5, 2011, at Savannah Specialty Care Center.
Born in Bryan County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Homer Lee and the late Maggie Attaway Lee. Mrs. Cannon was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Grady Cannon (1984), and her son, Billy Cannon (2006).
She is survived by her son and daughter-in law, Jimmy and Lynda Cannon of Savannah; her daughter, Shirley Cannon of Springfield; her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Cowart of Twin City; six grandchildren, Darrell Cannon (Tina), Donna Trapani (Luigi), Traci Cannon, Jeannine Taylor (Bobby), Lee McDilda and Lisa McDilda, and six great-grandchildren, Joe Cannon, Alice Ball, Zachary Osterman, Aaron Trapani, Brailey Osterman and Ashley Ball.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Thursday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
Private interment will be in Northside Cemetery in Pembroke.
