Esther Gold Stein, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Sidney Stein, died Sunday morning, April 23, 2017, at Buckingham South.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late William Gold and the late Rose Steuer Gold. Mrs. Stein was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob. She was a retired bookkeeper.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Tauber.
Surviving are two sons, Steve Stein and his wife, Melinda, of Savannah, Georgia, and Shelly Stein and his wife, Barbara, of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Deganit Ruben and her husband, Jesse, Michael Stein and his wife, Dana, Shane Stein and his wife, Tracey, Kyle Stein and his wife, Jody, and Reid Stein and his wife, Aliza; ten great-grandchildren: Jordan Ruben, Elana Ruben, Shimshy Stein, Astrid Stein, Emma Stein, Hailey Stein, Alyssa Stein, Kira Stein, Eli Stein and Sloane Stein, and two nieces, Joan Mann and Marilyn Tauber.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, at 11:30 AM at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
