Esther Friedman Kraft, 94, of Memphis, Tennessee and formerly of Atlanta, Georgia, widow of Irving Robert Kraft, died Thursday morning, July 17, 2014, at Ave Maria Assisted Living in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Mrs. Kraft was born in Savannah, Georgia a daughter to the late Morris Friedman and the late Rebecca Schifrin Friedman.?? She was a member of the Bnai Brith Jacob Congregation. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Alex Friedman, Hyman Friedman, Sam Friedman, Jacob Friedman and Julius Friedman.
Survivors include two daughters, Marlene Siegel, and her husband, Dr. Barry Siegel, of Memphis, Tennessee, and Sarah Kraft of Greensboro, North Carolina, formerly of Atlanta, Georgia; and a granddaughter, Jenna Ellenbogen of Orlando, Florida.
The family is grateful to Frank Gattuso and the staff at Ave Maria Assisted Living for the loving care Mrs. Kraft received every single minute of every single day that she lived there.
The funeral service will be held 10 o'clock, Friday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Jeffrey Gordon.
