Emerson Dale Guthrie, 18 month old son of Samantha Christine Eldridge and Robert Dale Guthrie, died Monday evening, September 23, 2013, at his home and under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born on Fort Stewart, Georgia, he is survived by his mother of Thunderbolt; his father of High Point, North Carolina ; three sisters, Marie Ann Guthrie, Alexis Christine Guthrie and Aryanna Layne Eldridge; his maternal grandparents, John Wayne Eldridge and his wife, Brenda, and Elisabeth Christine Eldridge, and his paternal grandparents, Dawn Hart and her husband, Joseph, and Samuel Thompson and his wife, Leigh.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Chaplain Jeff S. Hartman. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends after the service until 11:30.
