Eloise NeeSmith Bennett Fogler, 95, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Roy D. Bennett and Samuel J. Fogler, died Saturday morning, May 14, 2016, at St. Joseph's Hospital.



Born in Lyons, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late George S. NeeSmith and the late Rosa Belle Driggers NeeSmith. Mrs. Fogler was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She and her husband enjoyed life and the special times they had traveling in their motor home and going on cruises. Mrs. Fogler was a greeterette at Alee Shrine Temple. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and she always looked forward to decorating and cooking for her family for their annual Christmas Eve meal.



In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Bennett Carpenter; a granddaughter, Ginger Reagin; a great-grandson, Garrett Reagin; four sisters and two brothers.



Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Bennett Ennis; three sons, Roy D. Bennett, Jr. and his wife, Faye, Andrew C. Bennett and his wife, Sharon, and Terry D. Bennett; one son-in-law, Ken J. Carpenter; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three step-children, Sam Fogler and his wife, Rose, JoAnne Beaver and her husband, Frank, and Leo Fogler and his wife, Harriet; eight step-grandchildren; one sister, Lynette Martin, and a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece, Cynthia Bargeron.



The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 o'clock Monday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Jeff Spencer. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
