Elliott Murray Smith, 58, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday morning, September 3, 2015, in Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Ann Dewberry Reagin and the late Orion Henry 'Smitty' Smith. Murray was of the Baptist faith. He was a residential carpenter and an avid musician.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Leroy Smith.
Surviving are one daughter, Megan Lee Allen; two granddaughters, Karoline and Macy; his mother and step-father, Ann Dewberry Reagin and Joseph R. Reagin; one sister, Beverly Ann Thompson; one brother, Wayne Smith and his wife, Terry; his close friend, Shari Sheley-Watkins, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday, September 12, 2015, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, conducted by The Reverend William G. Hester. Interment will be private.
