Elizabeth Dillard White, 96, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Charles J. 'Buster' White, Jr., died Sunday morning, January 10, 2016.
She was born May 28, 1919 in Richland, GA. Known to her friends as \"Beebe\", she was the Manager of the Cosmetic Department at Fines on Broughton Street for nearly forty years. Her hobbies were gardening, hand crafts, playing Free Cell on the computer, and adopting cats. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Charles J. (Martha) White III of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Holly White (Mike) Lever of Columbia, SC and Charles Edwin White of Greer, SC and great-grandchildren, Michael Cory Lever and McKenzie Elizabeth Lever, both of Columbia, SC, Darby Lynn White and Charles Parker White of Greer, SC. Niece Gloria Monsees Johnson, Nephews Edwin Monsees, Andrew Dillard, Terry Dillard and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by The Reverend Steven R. Purnell.
The family would like to thank her long time caregiver, Lynette Brady, for her loving care.
