Elizabeth Ashton Sims Lindblad, 79, of Pembroke Georgia and widow of Rubin Lee Lindblad, Sr., died Monday morning, April 25, 2016, at her home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Jefferson Sims and the late Marie Bliss Cramer Sims. Mrs. Lindblad was a member of White Bluff Presbyterian Church. She worked for the Chatham County Tag Office and later for Food Lion.
Surviving are two daughters, Delores A. James and Cheryl D. McAnaspie, both of Pembroke; three sons, Rubin Lee Lindblad, Jr. of Pembroke and William A. Lindblad II and Gregory A. Lindblad, both of Garden City; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at White Bluff Presbyterian Church conducted by The Reverend Eric Beene. Interment will be in White Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
