Eleanor Blake Feuger, 86, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Charles Edwin Feuger, Jr., died Monday evening, June 24, 2013, at her home and under the care of Hospice Savannah after a long illness.



Born in Jacksonville, FL, she was a daughter of the late William Stone Blake and the late Ann Flood Blake. Mrs. Feuger was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing and Armstrong Atlantic State University. Eleanor was a registered nurse at Memorial University Medical Center and served as the Nurse Manager of Outpatient Services for 31 years. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jodoin Blake and son, Charles 'Chuck' Edwin Feuger III.



Survivors include her daughter, Mary Theresa Feuger (Keith); brother, Harris Blake (Gail); daughter-in-law Carol Ennis Feuger; grandchildren, Suzanne Feuger Altare (Joe), David Feuger (Chris), Jimmy Feuger (Katie); great-grandchildren, Lawton, Hayden, Delaney, Mary Grace and James and nieces, Holly Pace (Neil), Beth Wasdin (Curtis), Suzanne Jodoin, Judy Jodoin and Patricia Langston.



Special thanks to Shirley Jones, Angela Newman, Carolyn Brown and Adell Ferguson.?? We will never be able to thank you for the loving care shown to Eleanor during her illness.



The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue. The rosary service will be held at 6:30 o'clock in the funeral home chapel.



The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning in St. James Catholic Church conducted by Father Mark J. Ross. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
