Edna Geiger Miller

Edna Kate Geiger Miller, 67, of Savannah and wife of the late Jimmy Miller, Sr., died Thursday, July 17, at her residence.



Mrs. Miller was born on January 22, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Veda Geiger.?? She graduated from Glennville High School in 1965 and was awarded a certificate of merit from the University of Georgia. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and worked as an operator at the switchboard for Candler Hospital for over fifteen years. She was an avid baker.?? In addition to her husband, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by a sister, Regenia Blocker and a brother, William Martin.



Surviving are her son, Jimmy Miller, Jr. of Savannah; her daughter, Wendy Floyd and her husband, John of Savannah; two grandchildren, John Floyd and Joshua Floyd both of Savannah; her sister, Ruth Anne Foster of Glennville; two brothers, Mike Martin of Savannah and Howard Martin of Glennville; and several nieces and nephews.



Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 until 4 o'clock at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.



A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
