Earl Monroe Pearson, 91, of Savannah, Georgia and widower of Thelma Miller Pearson, died Tuesday morning, November 29, 2016, at The Arbors at Savannah Commons.
Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was a son of the late Earl Monroe Pearson, Sr. and the late Hilda Castle Pearson Bryant. Mr. Pearson was of the Methodist faith and was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Seabees. He was a graduate of Augusta Law School and retired as a realty specialist from the United States Corps of Engineers.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lenton Pearson.
Surviving are four daughters, Connie P. Carter and Cynthia P. Jimmo and her husband, Floyd, Jimmo, Jr., all of Savannah, Georgia, Carol Lisa Pearson of Augusta, Georgia, and Pam Saunders and her husband, Marvin, of North Augusta, South Carolina; one sister, Betty Gunther of Barnwell, South Carolina; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held at the graveside, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
