Earl David LeFevre, 60, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Caryn Ellzey LeFevre, passed away Thursday morning, May 19, 2022, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Earl William LeFevre and the late JoAnn Olliff LeFevre. David worked for many years as an electronic service technician for Johnson Controls, Inc. A very hands-on person, he excelled at crafting, particularly woodworking where he utilized laser engraving to make jewelry and other creative items. David enjoyed riding his Harley and was an active member of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club in Savannah for many years. He was also an avid drummer, and especially enjoyed playing and listening to rock music. David was an excellent cook, but above all else he loved spending time with his family and friends. A very involved father and grandfather, he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Caryn Ellzey LeFevre; children, Lynsie L. Jones and her husband Zach Jones, Cathryn L. Alberti and her husband Storm Alberti; grandchildren, Harlen and Harper Alberti; a sister, Georgia Ann Tice and her husband Bill Tice and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 12 o'clock Monday, May 23, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 12 o'clock, Monday afternoon, May 23, 2022, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service, conducted by the Reverend Doug J. Walker. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park ' East ' 1600 Wheaton Street.
