Earl Eugene Halford, Jr., 65, of Savannah, Georgia died Monday evening, July 19, 2021, at Candler Hospital with his daughter, his 'Number 1', at his side.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Earl Eugene Halford, Sr. and the late Florence Darr Halford. He owned and operated Earl Halford Auto Truck Repair. Earl was known as an excellent mechanic. He had a passion for motorcycles, cars, trucks and boats. In his early years he raced motorcycles professionally and he enjoyed racing with the Hobie Fleet. Earl's latest interest in fishing took up most of his Fridays' and Saturdays, ' Sundays too.
Surviving are his daughter, Faith Halford; two sisters, Holly Halford and Stacey Halford Whitener, and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 Friday evening, July 23, 2021, at Savannah Bend Marina ' 188 Old Tybee Road, Savannah.
