E. Joseph Jenkins of Savannah, Georgia, died early Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Hospice Savannah. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.?? Mr. Jenkins was a veteran of World War II, having served in the army.?? He was a retired electrician and a member of IBEW local union 508 of Savannah for many years.?? Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his son, Macy Weiland.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Durden Jenkins of Savannah and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service, with military honors, will be held 11 o'clock Wednesday at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Father Britt A. Brannen.
