Dr. Hilda Knobloch, 97, of Savannah, Georgia, died Monday morning, April 8, 2013, at Memorial University Medical Center.
She was a preeminent child developmental pediatrician and principal student of Arnold Gesell. Dr. Knobloch has lived in retirement in Savannah since 1982.
Surviving are her niece, Diane Rosenbluth (Jerry) of Long Island, New York; her grandnephew, Todd Rosenbluth (Miki) of New York, New York; her grandniece, Kim Lichtenstein (Jeff) of Port Washington, New York; five great-grandnieces and great-grandnephew, Lilly, Lola, Violet, Eli and Dahlia, and Horace and Rebecca Fleming of Savannah, Georgia, whom she considered a part of her family.
The service for Dr. Knobloch will be private.
