SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Douglas Howard Brush II, 56, of Savannah, Georgia, husband of Tressa Anne Dodd Brush, died suddenly Monday evening, January 4, 2010, at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Douglas Howard Brush, Sr. and the late Josephine Gertrude Schabacker Brush. Douglas earned his living as a service technician on audio and video equipment, but he worked everyday to find moments of enjoyment.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Tressa Anne Dodd Brush of Savannah, Georgia; one sister, Robyn Ann Marks and her husband David of, Hillsborough, New Jersey; one brother, Randall Elliot Brush and his wife Juanita of, Hatboro, Pennsylvania; two nieces, Samantha Marks and Sabrina Saucedo; two nephews, Edward Marks and Jonathan Michael Bauer. He will be thoroughly missed by family and a wide assortment of friends.
The family will receive visitors from 6 until 8 o'clock Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Samuel W. Watkins. Interment will be private.
