Dorothy 'Dot' Floyd Wiggins, 88, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Daniel Boone 'D. B.' Wiggins, died Monday morning, February 26, 2018, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Henry Clayton Floyd and the late Jennie Gibson Floyd. Mrs. Wiggins was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple. She graduated from Commercial High School. Mrs. Wiggins retired after many years from Sears, Roebuck and Company as an order processor. She later worked in the family business, Wiggins Iron and Fence Company.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Susie Rabalais and Margie Dunn, and two brothers, Henry Floyd, Jr. and Russell 'Buddy' Floyd.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Ridgway of Savannah; her brother, Ronald 'Ronnie' Floyd and his wife, Barbara, of Savannah; sister-in-law, Sharon Floyd of Savannah, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the graveside, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, conducted by Pastor Kenny Grant.
