Dorna Virginia Gardner passed away on August 21, 2013.
She was born on April 22, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Robert John Gardner and the late Anna Elizabeth Sellers Gardner. She and her daughter moved to Savannah in 1993. Even though she was born in the North, she truly loved the South. Dorna has been a local business owner of Gardner and Gardner Art on Art since 1994. A large part of her heart was towards ART. The largest part was just sharing special moments with her family and friends. Her friends were her family and her daughter is feeling more love from them than ever .. Dorna V. Gardner .. Always loved and will never be forgotten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob and Bill, and a sister, Kerrie.
Surviving are her daughter, Katherine 'Katie' Virginia Gardner, and her sister, Arlene Jones Donahue.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 o'clock Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 7 o'clock Friday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
