Donna May Adams Neidlinger, 91, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Robert Creeton Neidlinger, died Wednesday evening, November 5, 2014, at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro, North Carolina.
Born in Flint, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Leo Adams and the late Orpha Brovont Adams. Mrs. Neidlinger was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church in Bloomingdale and the Savannah Art Association. She was a United States Marine veteran having served during World War II. Mrs. Neidlinger was active in her church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert C. Neidlinger, Jr.
Surviving are one daughter, Donna Neidlinger Tugwell and her husband, Jerry, of Asheboro, North Carolina; two sons, Daniel Adams Neidlinger and his wife, Monique, of Pooler, Georgia, and Frederick Leo Neidlinger and his wife, Carolyn, of Milford, Delaware; one daughter-in-law, Marie Neidlinger of Savannah, Georgia; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 o\'clock Saturday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service, with full military honors, will be held at 2 o\'clock Saturday afternoon at the graveside, Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East, conducted by The Reverend Thomas W. Carruth.
