SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Donna Lynn Waddell Harrison, 54, of Savannah, Georgia, wife of G. Kenneth "Ken" Harrison, Jr., died Tuesday morning, September 8, 2009, at her home.
Born in Rome, Georgia, she was a daughter of Imo Pruitt Waddell and the late Fred Waddell. Donna was a very active member of Southside Baptist Church where she was a member of the Adult 4 Sunday School Class (Billy Godby's class). She was a freelance certified court reporter. Donna dearly loved her family and her cats.
Surviving are her husband of twelve years, G. Kenneth "Ken" Harrison, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Autumn Couch of Rome, Georgia, and Ashley Haase and her husband, Adam, of Milton, Georgia; three step-sons, George Kenneth Harrison III, Zachary H. Harrison and Whittaker N. Harrison, all of McLean, Virginia; four grandchildren, Niki Hazzard, Tyler Lester, Drew Haase and Morgan Haase; her mother, Imo Pruitt Waddell of Rome, Georgia; one sister, Debra Greene of Acworth, Georgia; two nieces and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning in Southside Baptist Church conducted by The Reverend Dr. Allan W. Bosson. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Haase, Derrille Greene, Toby Werner, Billy Godby, Paul Ranew and Larry Allen.
