Donald Robert Solt, Sr., 59, of Rincon, Georgia, died Saturday evening February 22, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Munich, Germany,a son of the late Freddie P. and Shirley Ann Cain Solt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Solt Wood; and a nephew, Bradley Vincent Hembree.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Solt Logan of Forest City, North Carolina and Donna Solt Macopson of Spindale, North Carolina; one son, Donald Robert Solt, Jr. of Hendersonville, North Carolina; one step-daughter of Tennessee; eight granddaughters; three grandsons; and five great-granddaughters; two sisters, Debra Solt Newland of Greer, South Carolina, and Sharon A. Solt of Savannah, Georgia; one brother, John M. Solt, Sr. of Seabrook, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend John A. Haney. Interment will be private.
