Donald H Logvin (Donnie) was born Dec 15, 1932 in Arverne, NY.
Following graduation from City College of NY with a degree in Business, Donnie served in the United States Army and was stationed in Panama. He married his childhood sweetheart, Roberta Nadler (Bobbie), and they soon became parents of a baby girl, Debbie. Shortly thereafter, their son Gary was born and the family moved into a house in Far Rockaway, Queens NY. Later they moved from Far Rockaway to Hewlett, then to Tarrytown. Donnie worked in merchandising as a buyer for Gimbel’s Department Store for 35 years.
After he retired, Bobbie and Donnie started a new life in Boynton Beach, Florida where they made many new friends. Donnie played golf, joined a bowling team, planted a beautiful garden that was the envy of all of his neighbors.
As years went on, they wanted to be closer to their family and settled in Savannah, Georgia where their granddaughter Jamie and husband Steven and new great-grandson, Micah lived. Soon, their daughter Debbie and husband Joe moved to Savannah as well. Bobbie and Donnie were happily married for 69 years. He is survived by his wife Bobbie; sister Carol Kaplan; children Debbie & Joe Sistino, Gary Logvin & Vicki Schiel; grandchildren Jamie & Steven Richman, Megan & Mike Gaudio, and Bryan Sistino & Cathy Lerner; and great- grandchildren Luke, Micah, Cole and Blake; and many loving family and friends.
