In 1999, he married Beverly Cooperman, Doris' cousin and their dear friend. Don and Bev greatly enjoyed their time together until Beverly passed away in 2009.

The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery.

Visitors are welcomed after the service until 9 p.m. at the home of Don's special niece and nephew, Carol & Hugh Minkovitz.
