Donald Joseph 'Donnie' Bidwell, Sr., 50, of Springfield, Georgia and husband of Cassy Hoskins Bidwell, died Sunday morning, February 8, 2015.
Born in Syracuse, New York, he was a son of the late Donald Russell Bidwell and the late Dorothy Rabasco. Donnie was a step-son of Robert L. Jeffery and Debbie Bidwell. He owned and operated his landscaping service. Donnie loved his family, was a good handyman, and never met a stranger.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Cassy Lynn Hoskins Bidwell; two sons, Donald Joseph 'Joe' Bidwell, Jr. and his wife, Chelsea, and Nicholas Allen 'Nick' Bidwell; one granddaughter, Allison 'Alli' Bidwell; four sisters, Dottie Bidwell-Kiernan, Raina Brown, Sandra Carter and Renee Thousand; three brothers, Robert C. Jeffery, Robert N. 'Bobby' Jeffery, and Jeffrey Ouellette, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.
The funeral service will be held at 7 o'clock Wednesday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be private.
