Dilmus Lee Lamb, 88, of Savannah, Georgia, and husband of Christine Saxon Lamb, died Friday evening, April 11, 2014, at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice.
Born in Statesboro, Georgia, he was a son of the late David Lamb and the late Lucy Sparks Lamb. Mr. Lamb was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church for 50 years. He was a United States Navy veteran having served in World War II. Mr. Lamb was the former owner and operator of Custom Window Company for more than 50 years.
Surviving are his wife, Christine Saxon Lamb of Savannah, Georgia; one daughter, Marilyn Sears and her husband, The Reverend Ron Sears, of Kansas City, Missouri; one son, Anthony Lamb and his wife, Kimberly, of Sharpsburg, Georgia; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9 until 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Ron Sears. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey ' East.
