SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Dianne Hudgins Burchard, 64, of Savannah, Georgia, wife of Robert Eugene Burchard, Jr., died Thursday afternoon, March 22, 2012 at her home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Hudgins and the late Adyle Plunkett Trout. Dianne was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church and was a Lab Technician for the American Red Cross, before losing her eyesight.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Eugene Burchard, Jr., of Savannah; one daughter, Kristen Burchard Muncy and her husband, John, of Bon Aire, Georgia; one sister, Gail Green and her husband, Shackford, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Stephanie Muncy and Johnny Muncy; one niece; Babette Shuman and her husband, George, of Savannah and her sister in-law, Debbie Thornton, of Decatur, Illinois.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service, conducted by The Reverend John A. Haney. Interment will be private.
