Diane Marie Murray Grant, 53, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Sherman Anthony Grant, died Tuesday morning, August 23, 2016, at her home and surrounded by her family.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was the only daughter of Jeannette Glover Murray and James Damon Murray. Diane was a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church ' Historic District/Old Fort. She was an insurance representative for more than 25 years. Diane loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time on the computer, reading, and listening to music.
Survivors include her husband, Sherman Anthony Grant; her mother, Jeannette Glover Murray; her father, James D. Murray; two brothers, James Calvin Murray and his wife, Ashley, and Gerald M. Murray and his wife, Deborah; seven nieces and nephews; her great-uncle, Melvin R. Chisholm, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the graveside, Magnolia Memorial Gardens, conducted by Pastor Larry James Stell.
