Debra Jacqueline Diamond

Debra Jacqueline Diamond or Debi, as she preferred to be called, at 60 years of age entered into her eternal home on April 12, 2025.

Debra was born on July 28, 1964 to Louis and Sonya Diamond. She was the youngest of three children and a lifelong resident of Savannah, living most of her life in Fairway Oaks where she was raised.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Sanford “Jay” Diamond. She will be missed by her daughter Dana Dudley (Aaron), son Robbie Brewer, and grandchildren: Mallorie Dudley, Morgan Dudley, Hannah Dudley, Briggs Brewer, and she was lovingly anticipating another grandson Beau Brewer. She is survived by her brother Gary Diamond (Nancy) and nephew Christopher Diamond.

She was a hard worker and held many long time jobs in Savannah to include The Savannah Morning News, SADISCO, and Chatham County Tag Offices. She enjoyed working and was most recently employed with The Kennickell Group after spending 7 years providing full time care for her mother. She was a compassionate dog mom and loved Jackson, Benjamin, and Oakley deeply.

She lived a life seeking to serve God through loving and helping those around her in any way that she could. She always sought to make connections with those around her; to be able to get to know every stranger she would meet. She genuinely loved and took an interest in people and would always make an effort to know them if for no other reason than so that could pray for them. She lived this way until the end. This is her legacy.

The family will receive friends at 12 o'clock Friday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 1 o’clock with Dusty Reynolds officiating. Burial at Bonaventure Cemetery.
